Our Family Approach

Our Family Approach

Crestwood Academy is intentionally family-centered. We believe children do best when families feel informed, respected, and genuinely connected to their child’s educational experience.

We value strong communication, healthy partnership, and a school environment where families feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, and staying involved. We know parents want more than a school that simply checks academic boxes. They want a place where their child is known, supported, challenged appropriately, and cared for by adults who take that responsibility seriously.

What Family Partnership Looks Like at Crestwood

Our family-centered approach may include things like:

  • clear communication about student progress, school updates, and classroom expectations
  • a school culture where parents feel comfortable asking questions and staying involved
  • a thoughtful approach to homework that values family time and avoids unnecessary busywork
  • partnership around student support, growth, behavior, and school fit
  • opportunities for families to connect with school events, projects, and community activities
  • a smaller school environment where families are known and relationships matter

Our goal is to create a school culture that feels personal, approachable, and supportive while still maintaining clear expectations and strong academics. We want families to feel like true partners in their child’s educational experience, not just spectators.
