Kindergarten Through 4th Grade
At Crestwood Academy, our Kindergarten through 4th grade program is designed to give students a strong academic foundation in a calm, structured, and supportive environment. We want students to grow not only in what they know, but in how they think, problem-solve, communicate, and take responsibility for their learning.
Our elementary program combines strong academics with small class sizes, hands-on learning, practical life skills, and meaningful teacher support. Students are challenged appropriately, encouraged to think critically, and given opportunities to build confidence, independence, and responsibility as they grow.
Kindergarten Through 4th Grade
Students in our Kindergarten through 4th grade program engage in:
- strong instruction in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies
- small group support and individualized attention when needed
- hands-on projects and real-world learning opportunities
- classroom routines that build structure, responsibility, and independence
- discussion-based learning that encourages communication and critical thinking
- life-skills development woven into the school experience
- leadership opportunities, collaboration, and problem-solving
We believe elementary students learn best when expectations are clear, relationships are strong, and learning feels meaningful. Our goal is to help students build strong academic habits while also growing in confidence, self-control, work ethic, and curiosity.
A Family-Centered Elementary Experience
We know the elementary years matter deeply, and we want families to feel supported along the way. Crestwood’s K–4 program is designed to be academically strong without creating unnecessary overwhelm. We value meaningful learning over busywork, strong communication with families, and a school experience that feels personal rather than one-size-fits-all.
At Crestwood, we want students to feel known, capable, and supported, and we want families to feel confident that their child is learning in a place that values both growth and connection.
