Founder & Principal

Amber Anderson is the Founder and Principal of Crestwood Academy. She created Crestwood with the vision of building a school where strong academics, leadership development, character formation, and meaningful real-world learning come together in a structured, relationship-centered environment.

Amber’s background includes educational program development, nonprofit leadership, curriculum planning, student support systems, accreditation, and organizational development. She holds a degree in Functional Health and Nutrition and is a Registered Health Educator.

As Crestwood Academy was developed, Amber designed the school’s academic framework, enrollment systems, student assessment processes, family engagement initiatives, governance structure, and accreditation program. She successfully guided the school through accreditation and continues to oversee curriculum implementation, instructional leadership, operations, strategic planning, and community partnerships.

Amber is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and plans to continue on to a master’s degree with the long-term goal of becoming a School Psychologist. Her professional interests include educational assessment, individualized student support, learning accommodations, and strengthening Crestwood’s ability to serve students with diverse learning needs.

She believes every child deserves to be known, challenged, encouraged, and supported, and she remains deeply committed to building a school where students grow in confidence, resilience, curiosity, leadership, and a lifelong love of learning.
