First Day of School is Almost Here!
The countdown is on! We are excited to welcome our founding students to Crestwood Academy on Monday, August 10, 2026.
Opening a new school is an exciting milestone, and we can’t wait to begin this journey with your family. Our team has been working hard to prepare classrooms, organize curriculum, create engaging learning spaces, and build a school where every child is known, supported, and encouraged to grow.
As we prepare for the first day, here are a few reminders to help your family start the year with confidence.
What to Bring
Please make sure your child brings:
- A nutritious lunch
- A labeled water bottle
- A backpack
- A positive attitude and a readiness to learn!
If your child has a change of clothes, medications that have already been approved by the school office, or any other required items, please make sure they are clearly labeled.
Arrival & Dismissal
To help our mornings run smoothly, please keep the following schedule in mind:
- Students may begin arriving at 8:45 a.m.
- Classes begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
- The tardy bell rings at 9:05 a.m.
For our Pre-K families:
- Morning Pre-K dismisses at 12:00 p.m.
- Afternoon Pre-K begins at 12:00 p.m.
For full-day students:
- Dismissal begins at 3:30 p.m.
Additional information about drop-off and pick-up procedures will be shared with enrolled families before the first day.
Small Class Sizes, Big Opportunities
One of the things that makes Crestwood Academy unique is our intentionally small class sizes. This allows our teachers to get to know each student, provide individualized support, and build strong relationships from the very beginning.
We know the first few days of school can bring excitement and a few butterflies. Our goal is to create a calm, welcoming environment where students feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.
Give Your Child a Great Start
A few simple things can make a big difference:
- Get a good night’s sleep before school starts.
- Eat a healthy breakfast.
- Arrive on time each morning.
- Talk positively about starting school and meeting new friends.
- Encourage your child to ask questions and try new things.
